Product Description
SHILOH FARMS Spelt Pitas are hearth baked with the wonderful old-world texture and taste. The "pocket" in pita bread is created by steam, which puffs up the dough. As the bread cools and flattens, a pocket is left in the middle. When removed from the oven, the layers of baked dough remain separated inside the deflated pita, which allows the bread to be opened into pockets, creating a space for use in various dishes. People fill the pockets with various ingredients to form a sandwich.

Suggestions:
1. Split and fill the pita bread pockets with your favorite salads, hummus, avocado or sprouts.
2. Use pita pockets for fresh berries and whipped cream cheese desserts or treats.
3. Even Vegetables and meat dishes are great in the pita pockets.
4. Try you favorite egg omelet in a pita pocket.
To Use:
Keep Frozen until ready to use, then allow to thaw at room temperature. Heat in a warm oven to enhance the flavor.

- If you are outside of our two-day delivery area, we recommend that select FedEx 2 Day shipping for your bread to arrive in the best condition possible.

If we see that you have selected an inappropriate shipping method, we reserve the right to cancel your order before fulfillment. These are the only spelt pitas I can find aside from making my own. Very versatile: sandwiches of all sorts and pitas chips (recipe on the back of the bag). Made with simple ingredients and still taste fresh out of the freezer. So glad I found these!

Fresh and so delicious, I'm happy that the Spelt Pitas are available at Shiloh Farms! hey are easy to warm up on a skillet. Shipping is very quick and the pitas are packed so carefully. Shiloh Farms is the Best!!

This pita bread is delicious. I used it for an open-faced turkey sloppy joe and it held up to the juices. I also used it to make a personal pizza and it was fabulous.

Healthy and tasty, especially when it's fresh or thawed out, but also great when put in microwave on defrost setting for just a few seconds. Great find, as it's hard to come by spelt pita on the market. I avoid white flour, so it's great. I eat it more often than other spelt bread because if its simple ingredients - which also makes it ideal for my Sabbath meals; it's even better than the spelt challah that's available.
