Nourishing Hot Cereal

Ready in under 10 minutes, this hot, hearty cereal combines oats, Kamut® flakes, nuts, and dried fruit to create a wonderful, nourishing start to any day! For those with gluten sensitivities, substitute Shiloh Farms Organic Quinoa Flakes for the Kamut® Flakes.
Ingredients:
1 C. low-fat milk
1 C. water
pinch Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt
¾ C. Shiloh Farms Organic Rolled Oats
¼ C. Shiloh Farms Organic Kamut® Flakes
1 Tbsp. Shiloh Farms Organic Pumpkin Seeds or Organic Shelled Sunflower Seeds
1 Tbsp. Shiloh Farms Organic Polenta (optional)
2 Tbsp. Shiloh Farms Organic American Native Pecans, chopped
2 Tbsp. Shiloh Farms Organic Sour Red Cherries, Organic Cranberries, or Organic Raisins
Shiloh Farms Organic Maple Sugar, to taste
Milk or cream, to taste
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, bring milk, water, and salt to a simmer over medium heat
2. Reduce heat to low and add rolled oats, Kamut® Flakes, seeds, and polenta
3. Simmer, stirring often, for 5-7 minutes, or until liquid is mostly absorbed
4. Portion hot cereal into bowls and top with pecans, dried fruit, maple sugar, and milk if desired
