Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Vanilla Spiced Pecans
Yields 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
2 lbs. brussels sprouts, washed, trimmed, & halved
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
¾ tsp. Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 C. Shiloh Farms All Natural Pecan Halves
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. Shiloh Farms Organic Maple Sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°
2. In large bowl, combine brussels sprouts with 1 Tbsp. butter, ½ tsp salt, and pepper; stir well to coat brussels sprouts
3. Place sprouts on foil-lined baking sheet; bake 15-20 minutes, or until sprouts begin to brown
4. While sprouts are baking, add pecans to bowl along with reserved butter, ¼ tsp. salt, and vanilla; stir well to coat
5. Once sprouts just begin to brown, remove from oven and add to pecans; add maple sugar and toss to combine
6. Put sprouts and pecans back on baking sheet and place back in oven; roast an additional 5-10 minutes, or until nuts are toasted
