SHILOH FARMS Lima Beans
Cooked, lima beans develop a creamy, buttery texture that is at once comforting & slightly indulgent. But don’t be fooled - they are still a key source of protein, fiber, & essential minerals!
Directions: Sort* & rinse. Cover with water & soak overnight. Drain. Bring 3 cups water & 1 cup beans to boil, reduce, & simmer 1-1½ hours, or until tender. Drain & serve.
Suggested Uses:
1. Mix with corn, garlic, & vegetables for succotash.
2. Puree with fresh herbs for a tasty dip.
3. Serve with brown rice for complete plant protein.
