Usage: To use as a thickener, first dissolve starch in a small amount of water to create a slurry, then add to sauce and stir until thickened. For hot liquids, bring to boil after adding and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Corn starch has twice the thickening power of flour, so, if using in place of flour, use ½ amount called for in recipe.
