Coconut Hot Cocoa Mix
Yields about 25 servings
Ingredients:
2 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Coconut Milk Powder
1 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Cocoa Powder
2 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Coconut Sugar
1 tsp. Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt
To serve:
boiling water
whipped cream
Shiloh Farms Allergen Free Mini Dark Chocolate Chips
Shiloh Farms Organic Shredded Coconut, toasted
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together coconut milk powder, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and salt
2. Store mixture in a large, air-tight container (a large canning jar works well)
3. To serve, spoon 3 Tbsp. hot cocoa mix into a mug; whisk in 1/4 C. boiling water and stir until cocoa is dissolved and no lumps remain
4. Top off with another 3/4 C. boiling water and stir to combine
5. Top with whipped cream; sprinkle mini chocolate chips and/or toasted coconut, if desired
Variations:
1. Adjust the ratio of cocoa mix to water to suit your taste. If you desire a thicker hot cocoa, use more mix or less water; if you want it a little thinner, add less mix or more water
2. For a thicker hot cocoa, you can also add 1½ Tbsp. Shiloh Farms Organic Cornstarch to the cocoa mix.
