1 1/2 cups SHILOH FARMS ROLLED OATS
1 1/2 cup hot Water
1/2 cup Butter, softened
2 Eggs
1 cup Shiloh Farms Date sugar
1 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Sea Salt
1 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
TOPPING:
6 Tbsp. Butter
1/2 cup Shiloh Farms Date sugar
4 Tbsp. Milk or Cream
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup Shiloh Farms Coconut or Chopped Nuts
Directions:
Soak rolled oats in water for 20 minutes.
Blend butter, eggs and date sugar. Add to soaked rolled oats. Add flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
Mix and pour into a 9 inch baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Mix topping and spread on cake. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
