This simple recipe becomes something rather elegant when baked; It is almost like spoonbread and goes nicely with bean soups.
1-1/4 cups of cooked SHILOH FARMS RICE FLAKES
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 cup low fat Milk or Soy Milk
1/3 cup of Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 tsp. Sea salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 Tbsp. melted Butter
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour mixture into an oiled 9 inch pie pan. Bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until the top is nicely browned.
Allow to cool a short while, then cut into wedges and serve.
